Dörnyei and Czizér(1998:215)提出10 Commandments for motivating language learners

1. Set a personal example with your own behavior. 設立個人行為
   
2. Create a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere in the classroom. 氣氛輕鬆
   
3. Present the task properly. 適當陳述任務
   
4. Develop a good relationship with the learners. 建立良好關係
   
5. Increase the learners' linguistic self-confidence. 建立學習者語言自信
   
6. Make the language classes interesting. 使課堂有趣
   
7. Promote learner autonomy. 增加自主性
   
8. Personalize the learning process. 學習過程個人化
   
9. Increase the learners' goal-orientedness. 增加學習者目標導向
   
10. Familiarize learners with the target language culture. 熟悉目標語文化
